Hi,
its possible to create alerts remote by hostmonitor client that connectet to server? for example with follow command:
createhostmonalert.exe -status "Error" -Message "This is an Error"
Create alert via client
hostmonitor client?
There is RCC (Remote Control Console), it provides GUI and allows you to work with HostMonitor remotely
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/rcc/index.htm
There is Telnet Service that allows you to perform some operations using telnet client (e.g. you may import test settings from a file)
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/teln ... /index.htm
You should specify test parameters using HostMonitor or RCC GUI or using import file, then you may enable, disable, pause, resume or import this test using various clients (RCC, Web Service, Telnet Service) or scripts.
If you are asking about actions, then its not enough to create action, it should be assigned to some profile that is assigned to some test items...
Regards
Alex

Truth to say this command does not make any sense... Have you seen HostMonitor? Have you seen how many parameters should be specified for test items?createhostmonalert.exe -status "Error" -Message "This is an Error"

It sounds like you need "SNMP Trap" tests, performed by Active RMA agent.I search for a method such as the snmp-listener with a send-tool for example i want to create an alert by batchfile or third-party app.
Please check the manual or visit our web site for more information at:
SNMP Trap test: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... m#snmptrap
Active RMA agent: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/rma- ... iverma.htm
