Strange problem on FreeBSD

Post by rustelekom1 »

Hello,

First time seen error after about 6 years using HM:):

Invalid path to the agent!
Please check '/rma/rma.cfg' file

uname -a:
FreeBSD h1.avihost.net 8.2-STABLE FreeBSD 8.2-STABLE #2 r95

Application: RMA (Remote Monitoring Agent for HostMonitor)
Version: 1.28 for FreeBSD
Copyright: 2004 - 2009 Alexander Kozlov
web: http://www.ks-soft.net
e-mail: support@ks-soft.net

What this does mean? Owner/group is correct as well as file permission of course.

I know RMA for FreeBSD is designed for 7.0 but to be honest i have not problem run it on other machines.

Thanks
Dima

Please check RMAPath parameter in [Basic] section of /rma/rma.cfg
It should contain path to the agent plus agent file name.
If agent is located in /rma/ folder, RMAPath parameter in [Basic] section of rma.cfg should be set to: /rma/rma
