Getting value from specific row in a SNMP Table?

Post by mrw »

Hi,
I´m trying to get snmp values from a HP MSA 2012SA.
But almost everything is included in SNMP Tables. And each row is completely different. For example: Row 1= PWS Status, Row 2= Fan Status, Row 3= Disk 1 Status. And so on.

Is there a way I can get the exact value from a specific row in a table?

I have tried with a standard SNMT Get test using a OID that I construct from the info in the table but nothing works. Now I don´t have much knowledge about Tables so I might be doing something wrong.

You just need to specify correct row index at the end of OID.
I would recommend you to use MIB Browser and use "GET Next" button to retrieve nearest OID counters to check correct indexes/OIDs for table rows.
