Hi there,
I'm trying to setup ODBC logging. I've got a SQL Server and a System DSN which is pointed to my log database. I've created the columns that it asks for in the ODBC setup screen. However, it appears that the software cannot see the System DSN. Hostmonitor is running on a different computer. The database is running on another different computer (the System DSN connects to it happily). I am on a workstation trying to configure the logging to the database. I've even tried creating a System DSN on my workstation to see if that would make things work. Nothing yet. Any ideas?

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it.
I do have the DSN on the Hostmonitor system - forgot to mention that.
The audit repot screen makes no mention of me trying to connect via ODBC, unfortunately. It's filled with generating HTML and DBF reports, along with a few connection establilshed or failed messages from one of the other techs.
When I try to run a test from the setup screen I get this:
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specifie
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

May be you have configured System DSN using 64bit ODBC Data Source Administrator?
Please use 32bit ODBC Data Source Administrator (C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe)
Quote from manual:
==================
Windows x64
HostMonitor is 32bit application that can be started on 64bit Windows OS. If you are using Windows x64 Edition and you want to setup ODBC Logging or ODBC test method, you should setup ODBC datasources using 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe).
