Having trouble with Powershell call to Putty inside HM

May be some variable have incorrect value?
What have you changed before it stopped working? only added -batch and 2>c:\temp\stderr.txt ?

Actually, I'm starting to think the issue may be with plink itself. I'm going to try rewriting it to use a powershell SSH module.
