Hostmonitor external batch file in action profile

Using hostmonitor version 7.78, windows 2008r1

We are running external batch file to notify SMS to receipients.
but the issue is we are getting 8 message for each fail and pass alerts

what could be the issue. pls throw some light on this.

Check logs - how many times action was started?

Alex,

Where to find the logs?

btw I checked the settings,
action set 1 times for failure
and pass notification.

E.g.
Quick Log for actions, it was implemented in version 7.00 (menu View->Quick Log->select test item and switch to actions mode using popup menu)
Also, there is Test Info dialog (select item and use popup menu)
Also, there is System Log file specified on System Log page in Options dialog

btw: version 7.78 is not designed for Windows 2008.

Can you pls advise which host monitor
version will suit for win2008 server?

We recommend version 9.30 or higher

Hi Alex,

Today we upgrade to ver 9.90, in WindowsServer2008R2 Standard Server
but, still we receive multiple sms alert.

In action log, it was trigger once. but still we do receive multiple sms alert from the SMS server.

Please help to check with running NETPAGE.EXE from C:\windows folder if it was for any unknown issues or bug related.

This means there is some bug in application that sends SMS or some problem on service provider side
