I have set up an alert that tries to send an email with a destination defined by two macro variables: %FCommentLine1%; %FCommentLine1%

This seems to work okay.

However if the folder gets these setting using inheritance (instead of having them set directly) then it seems that the emailer thinks the fields are blank.

Is there any chance that the system could be changed so that when you create a new folder comment inheritance is on by default, rather than off by default?
