I installed the service and now when I open the application it finds errors with all my monitors. When I disable the service and run the application normally it shows that everything is working fine.
problem when start as service
When HostMonitor starts as service it uses the system account (as all interactive services). But this account doesn't have a lot permissions, and some tests will not work (UNC test, "disk free space" test for shared drives, "CPU Usage" test for remote machines, etc). If you need these tests, you have to assign special user account on Service page in the Options dialog. In this case HostMonitor will impersonate the security context of the user.
Note: Do not change account using system utility (Service Manager), in this case HostMonitor will not be able to interact with desktop.
