HMS scripts and folder variables

Post by Stoltze »

Hi,

Version 8.01f

I want to change the value of some CommentLines to a folder variable

But when running the script, using File->Execute script, it writes the value of the variable in the commentline, instead of the actual folder variable...

123@msn.com instead of %fvar_email%

How can I avoid that..? :)

Looks like you need new command.
I have added task into "to do" list

BTW: if you want to change comment and name patterns for all test items, you may use "Denomination" function provided by Patterns dialog

Okay. Like a general command for the script, right?
Like: ResolveVariables = Yes/No
