Send SMS smpp with gsm7bit charset

Is it possible in Hostmonitor to send SMS messages with gsm7bit charset?

GSM 7-bit alphabet for SMS?
Of course it is possible. This is default mode supported by all GSM devices and applications.

We've talked with a vendor to run the SMPP and have had problems in the tests we've run with Scandinavian letters ÅÄÖ to come out in the SMS. Our supplier then wondered if we could send with GSM7Bit.

Oh, you are talking about "Send SMS (SMPP over IP)" action? In this case HostMonitor sends message using 8bit characters.
As I know this is correct behavior, according to SMPP v3.4 specifications...
