POP3 test failes to logon to Office365
Hey guys,
Maybe some of you already had this but the last few day my POP3 test to Office365 keeps failing on the login procedure. I'm 99.9% sure this problem is with Microsoft but I was wondering if I'm the only one having this problem?
This is my test:
-------------------------------------------------
Title = Testname 1
Disabled = No
Comment =
RelatedURL =
ScheduleMode= Regular
Schedule =
Interval = 300
Alerts = DBA - SLA - 14x6
ReverseAlert= No
UnknownIsBad= Yes
WarningIsBad= Yes
UseCommonLog= Yes
PrivLogMode = Default
CommLogMode = Default
;--- Test specific properties ---
Server = outlook.office365.com
Port = 995
SSLMode = Implicit
Timeout = 60
Username = email@address.something
Password = password
MsgsLimit = 3
Thank you!

No I checked but there is no difference. "Accept SSL/PCT certificates with invalid host name" is checked for POP3 and IMAP. everything else is not checked.
But the POP3 authentication problem only seems to occur with hostmonitor. I tried to connect a couple of email clients other then Outlook, and they all authenticate fine.

If you see the above article, then Microsoft says the encryption method is TLS* v1-1.2. Is this compatible?
